We are offering Synpol SK-10 to our clients. Ketonic Resin is a condensation product of cyclohexanone and formaldehyde to give a solid product, which includes carbonyl and hydroxyl groups. The product is a pale yellow to light yellow solid having solubility in aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, glycols, esters, ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbon and so on but is insoluble in water. Its solubility in nonpolar solvents such as mineral oil, aliphactic hydrocarbon, alicyclic hydrocarbon is limited, which should be taken in account during usage. They have wide compatibility with nitrocellulose of alcohol soluble grade, short oil alkyd resins, amino resins, phenolic resins and polyamide resins.
